Rocker soles gently propel you through the gait cycle so your feet don't have to work so hard. Designed with a slight curve, the sole "rocks" the foot from heel-strike through toe-off, barely bending the shoe. A rocker sole reduces pressure on the foot, ankle, toes and metatarsals and saves energy by eliminating thousands of small compensations the foot would otherwise make in each step.
In the Aravon collection, you will find our own Stridarc™ heeled rocker soles
Aravon engineers fine-tuned rocker technology to accommodate a 12/8 heel height. Through a unique process, a rigid bi-fit board is embedded in the comfortable rubber outsole. Stridarc styles also have a removable Velocor™ footbed with deep heel cup, arch support and metatarsal bump.
