One of two joints in the ankle, the subtalar joint is where the talus meets
the calcaneus. When this hard-working joint is elevated on heels, it is
capable of lots of motion, not all of it good. Aravon has engineered the
lasts and outsoles of the Office collection to gently hold the subtalar
joint in the best-supported position—subtalar neutral—even while
lifting your heel to fashionable heights of 5/8, 1 or 1-1/8 inches.
